2023: Rotimi Amaechi Cannot Be Trusted — Daniel Wilson

Pop music legend, Daniel Wilson has taken a critical look at last weekend’s declaration to contest the 2023 presidential election by the Minister of Transport, Chief Chubuike Rotimi Amaechi and concluded that the former Rivers State governor cannot be trusted.
Wilson, a celebrity and musical artist who, along with others dictated the music scene in the 90s, emphasized that an aspirant to the high office of a country’s presidency should not double-speak or be deceitful.

He noted that what defines a leader is the truthfulness of his thoughts. He added that for Amaechi to deceive and invite unsuspecting Nigerians to a presidential declaration disguised as a “thanksgiving service” indicates that he is a fraud.
Wilson wrote: “If we are to know the type of president a candidate would be by the type of declaration he or she had. I would say Rotimi Amaechi will typically institutionalise fraud of had becomes president”
“A leader who says one thing on his invitation card and does a different thing in the event is a serious fraudster.
“If you cannot come out with your full chest to say you want to declare, instead you invited people for a thanksgiving service only to read a carefully written declaration speech to your unsuspecting guests, then you are not a leader to be trusted.
You must not play wayo (fraud) with everything”, Wilson stated.
The Minister, on Saturday, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, publicly declared his interest in the presidential seat in an election scheduled to be held next year.
