Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has declared that he would be running to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bello made the declaration on Saturday at Eagle Square in Abuja.
He said he is the best candidate the All Progressives Congress (APC) can field in 2023 to succeed President Buhari.
While adressing the crowd, the governor called on Nigerians to make informed decisions on who becomes the next President, warning against making the mistakes of the past.
He said Nigeria deserves to be a united nation where no one will be considered a minority if he’s elected as President.
The APC presidential aspirant promised to create 20 million millionaires by the year 2030 using the South East model of apprenticeship.
The governor said his youthfulness which is a factor that would enhance his performance, assured thst he is physically and mentally fit to lead Nigeria to prosperity.
He listed courage to lead the country as another best selling point he has over others, saying his decision to stand alone when it mattered most has vindicated him aftermath of COVID-19 pandemic and promised to take courageous decisions that would move the country
