The owner of the recovered Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), 4Matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY abandoned under Otedola Bridge, Lagos on Monday showed up.
Narrating why he abandoned his vehicle on the bridge, the owner said he was attacked by traffic robbers after he stopped to check his shaking rear tyre.
He told officers of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) that he abandoned the vehicle there to escape.
An official of the squad said following confirmation of his identity and proof of ownership the vehicle along with valuables were handed over to him while CSP Yinka Egbeyemi directed RRS Decoy Team to arrest those involved in the attack.
