IN an unmitigated outburst following her loss in the recently held senatorial election to Dr. Tony Nwoye of the Labour Party (LP), the wife of the immediate past governor of Anambra State and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA’s) candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District, Mrs. Ebele Obiano has lambasted the Anambra State governor and APGA leader in the state, Prof. Charles Soludo over an alleged lack of support he accorded her quest which ultimately paved the way for her humiliating defeat at the polls.
According to Mrs. Obiano, Soludo refused to make available any financial help to her campaign and even stopped picking up her calls completely as the election neared.
“In fact, Soludo set my husband and me up and frustrated us completely. This is a man my husband and I did everything possible to make the governor of Anambra State. We campaigned fervently for him and made funds readily available. As soon as he became governor he changed to a monster and started biting the fingers that fed him!”
Describing Governor Soludo as a “wicked man with a mischievous heart“, Mrs. Obiano said: “APGA is no longer what it was under my husband when there was justice and equity. Today evil people have taken over and they are messing up the original well-meaning APGA members”.
She asked all Anambrarians to come out on Saturday and vote for state House of Assembly candidates that mean well for the state. “It must not be APGA candidates”, she stressed. In fact, Saturday, according to her, offers residents of the state the opportunity to pay Soludo back in his own coin.
“Soludo, my living God will judge you and the God I serve will fight for me”, Mrs. Obiano stressed.
