THE Head of the Obi-Datti Media Office has said calls by Minister for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo for the arrest of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed weren’t worth responding to.
Diran Onifade, reacting, urged Nigerians not to take Keyamo seriously.
Recall that Keyamo had written a petition to the Department of State Security Service (DSS) demanding the arrest of the LP presidential candidate and his running mate.
In the petition letter dated 23rd March 2023, Keyamo alleged that Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed’s post-election utterances and conduct bothered on incitement and treasonable felony.
The Minister for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo via his Twitter handle on Thursday asserted that the council of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s call for peace and national healing does not amount to weakness.
Reacting to Keyamo’s call, on Thursday, Diran Onifade, said that Keyamo’s call was unworthy of a response because it was a huge joke.
“Such a call is a huge joke nobody should take seriously,” he said.
