According to him, “Moroof Aremu Owonla (Kaka Moroof) did not only commit illegal actions and atrocities but appropriated to himself the role of Sherriff of Lagos High Court by inscribing “possession taken on 2nd May 2008 ID/1722/92, CA/L/30/06, CA/L/16/M/04” on my hotel situated at No. 34, Ferguson Osagie Street, Ayobo, Lagos State on the 5th day of August 2022.
“Upon my application for confirmation from the Lagos High Court Ikeja Sherriff section, it was discovered, upon a detailed search by the court, that Suit No: ID/1722/92 does not exist in their record. I am fortified with a copy of Lagos State Judiciary’s reply to my letter of request dated 7th November 2022, with Ref No: LAS/312455/Vol XXII/136.
“Moroof in his usual desperate bid to forcefully take over my hotel and dispossess me of same, wrote a frivolous petition to Force C.I.D Annex, Alagbon, Lagos State, and the case was assigned to General Investigation Section (GIS) headed by DCP Shiek Danko who, with his team, investigated the case and arrested six thugs deployed to my hotel by Kaka Moroof including one of his ally, Ganiyu Aminu. They were later arraigned before Court 1, Yaba Magistrate Court on 8th December 2022, vide Charge No: A/80/22.
“I am fortified with the charge sheet of the said case investigation report of the police at Alagbon dated 18th October 2022 vide Reference No: CB/4099/X/GI/ ADM/TE/VOL.4/20 issued to me revealed that Kaka Moroof, the prime suspect, was declared to be at large and he is being sought after for arraignment in court. I am fortified with the CTC of Police Investigation Report from Force C.I.D Annex, Alagbon.
“I am fortified with the court ruling of Hon. Justice Oshoala dated 30th March 2023 that ordered the status ante to be maintained.
“I have sold my hotel to Lt. Commander Olaife Olaiya, a Naval Officer yet Kaka Moroof continued to deploy his thugs to the hotel which compelled the Naval officer to protect his property from the illegal invasion and possible demolition by Kaka Moroof, challenging his existence on his property.
Meanwhile, Kaka Moroof has a pending case before Justice A. M Oluyemi of a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja. In Suit No: ID/1081/12 he is facing contempt and committal proceedings.
