KEBBI STATE governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu has promised to bring positive development that will transform the state.
He disclosed this while addressing a mammoth crowd that received him at the airport on arrival from Saudi Arabia after performing this year’s pilgrimage.
He arrived at Sultan Abubakar Airport, Sokoto this Wednesday after performing the 2023 pilgrimage in the holy land.
The governor expressed appreciation to all and sundry for their understanding, patience, support and cooperation given to him and his administration throughout the period.
Dr Idris assured that his administration will continue to bring positive changes and rapid development to the state.
Mallam Ahmed Idris, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor quotes him as saying: “I promise to provide dividends of democracy to the people of the state by ensuring that people reap the fruits of democracy in all the nooks and cronies of the state”.
The governor commended the SSG, other government officials as well as politicians for the good work they have been doing throughout his absence.
The governor was received by the Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Usman Yankwai alongside other Assembly members, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, Special Adviser (SA) Political and Power, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant, local government chairmen and other political appointees.
