DAVIDO’S logistics manager, Isreal DMW Afeare, has asked his estranged wife, Sheila David, to return in the right way the bride price he paid to marry her.
The couple got married in October 2022, however, the union ended in November 2023.
Sheila disclosed on Tuesday that she had returned Isreal’s bride price in response to a curious Instagram fan who advised her to do so.
However, Israel DMW refuted the allegations, claiming that the bride’s price was “never returned”.
In a post on his Instagram story, Israel DMW asked Sheila to return his bride price in a “proper way,” rather than via “transfer.”
“Kindly properly return my bride price. You can’t transfer it directly to me through an alert. I was never the one who paid it directly, my family did.
“And it was directly by hand. We married under the Acts and it is only a Federal High Court who has the statutory powers to get it dissolved after two years,” Israel DMW wrote.
