THE Federal Fire Service said it on Saturday completed the physical verification and assessment phase for the 2024 recruitment cycle.
The phase of the recruitment, which commenced on Wednesday, 25th of September 2024, across the 36 states of the federation, had the shortlisted candidates participate in rigorous evaluations to determine their physical readiness and suitability for service.According to a statement from the Public Relations Unit of the Service, candidates were obligated to complete a series of physical tests aimed at evaluating their fitness, endurance, and overall readiness for the demands of a career in firefighting. “This crucial phase is vital for ensuring that recruits uphold the high standards required for effective service”, the statement read in part.
The Controller General, Federal Fire Service, Engr. Jaji O. Abdulganiyu also urged applicants to remain optimistic, even as he expressed gratitude to all the applicants for their commitment, cooperation, and interest as he anticipates welcoming new staff members to the Service.
