A 200-level student of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at the Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, has been declared missing.
Muritala Muhammed, 20, according to a report made at the Harmony Police Division, situated within FUNAAB premises, by her mother, Muritala Khadija, has been missing since Friday, 10 January 2025.
The complainant, a resident of 1, Olola Street, Odo-Ona Kekere in the Arapaja area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, said Muhammed left Ibadan for school on 10 January 2025, around 10:00 am.
“She anticipated his call upon his arrival in school, but he did not contact her, and all attempts to reach him have been unsuccessful”, a statement issued by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Omolola Odutola, reflected the missing boy’s mother’s agony.
Muritala is dark complexion and is of average height, the mother further added.
