THE Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has appointed Moroccan referee Jalal Jayed to lead the 2026 World Cup qualifier between Rwanda and Nigeria.
Interestingly, Jayed has already refereed the Super Eagles, officiating their friendly victory against Ghana in Marrakech last year.
The match kicks off at 5 pm (Nigeria time) on Friday, March 21st at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
Meanwhile, the Cheetahs of Republic of Benin have attained the summit of Group C having recorded a draw away to Zimbabwe in the match played on Thursday. The West African neighbours now have eight points from five matches
