Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo today appeared in public for the first time after a successful surgery he undertook after his admission into a private hospital on 16th July.
The VP is at the time of filing this report, attending the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity (Office of the Vice President, in a release, said the VP is grateful for all the get-well wishes sent by Nigerians and others from all walks of life since the surgical operation and the recuperation period. He intends to be getting up and doing more and more.
The VP was admitted to the Duchess International Hospital, Lagos on Saturday, 16 July 2022, on account of a right femur fracture. He had corrective surgery without any complications.
He was admitted for a total of 7 days during which he had physiotherapy and a smooth rehabilitation following the surgical operation. He was discharged on 26th July.
