PETER OKOYE of PSquare fame has threatened to sue two leading commercial banks in the country Access Bank Plc and Polaris Bank Ltd in court over alleged acts of impersonation.
The musician (also known as Mr. P) in a post on his social media platforms said he could not comprehend the reason why Polaris Bank Ltd allowed someone to open an account in the name of “PETER PSQUARE OKOYE”, while Access Bank Plc also allowed someone opens an account name “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE ” without valid means of identification, no biometrics, no BVN, no verified address or even utility bill to correspond with the address of the account owner.

According to the pop music star, “Now they are using my name to scam innocent people! I am suing these banks for damages and calling them out! One after the other! @officialefcc take note! Enough is enough!
“Calling out more banks!🤬😡 THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!”
He shared receipts of financial transactions done in his name and also posted pictures of the three banks while threatening a lawsuit against them for damages.
He alleged that an employee of one of the banks must be responsible for the dubious act.
