A letter of appointment exclusively obtained by Eighteen-Eleven Media correspondent indicates that a certain Alhaji Oyetunji Rasaki Abefe was appointed to the position. The said letter of appointment was signed by Honourable Tesim lgbalaye, Secretary to the Stäte Government and dated 9th August 2023. 
It read:
APPOINTMENT AS SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE GOVERNOR ON GOVERNMENT HOUSE POOL
I am pleased to inform you that the Governor of Osun State His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeon Adelake has approved your appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the
Governor on Government House Pool with effect from 1 August 2023.
