Atiku, Saraki, Sowore, Deji Adeyanju Mourn ‘Aristotle’

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has expressed shock over the death of right activist, social crusader and astute promoter of an egalitarian society, Comrade Ariyo Dare Atoye (popularly known as Aristotle).

Atiku described the death of Ariyo Dare-Atoye as a huge loss to the nation, given his erudite contributions to national dialogue, fight for what is right and just and relentless commitment towards the development of democratic ethos in Nigeria.

The presidential standard-bearer of the main opposition party added that ” he dedicated his life as a journalist, human right activist and social crusader for improvement in every phase of life in our country. who has also remained steadfast in fighting for human rights, good governance, credible elections as well as justice, especially for the downtrodden?

Atiku commiserates with his wife, children and Atoye family.

Saraki also condoles with the larger Atoye family and also the civil society community while offering prayers to God to grant the country the fortitude to bear this huge loss.

Similarly, Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC,) said, “we lost an amazing human being to the cold hands of death. Rest in Power @AriyoAristotle! Sad day!

Deji Adeyanju also said, my brother comrade, Ariyo Dare Atoye has gone to be with the Lord. He was looking at me till the last moment. From God, we came, and it is certain to Him we will return.

May the gentle soul of our beloved brother Rest In Peace.
