A player of the Black Galaxies of Ghana who craved anonymity has attributed yesterday’s 3-1 defeat in the hands of the Super Eagles Team B in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State to substandard football used during the match.
The Super Eagles B beat the Ghanaian national team 3-1 to clinch the 2025 CHAN ticket in the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
In a message to NPFLUpdates, the player who craved anonymity revealed the ball wasn’t a standard.
“We all noticed, the ball we played with(in Uyo) is not international standard; and I’m sure they know it as well. Football is supposed to be a fair game, but when you deploy such tactics, to score cheap points it loses its prestige.
“We can come back again, and better.”
Nigeria qualified on a 3-1 aggregate after the first leg ended in a scoreless draw in Accra, Ghana.
