FORMER President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick, has failed to secure his seat on the FIFA Council during the ongoing Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) electoral meeting in Cairo, the Egyptian capital.
The Delta State-born football administrator lost his seat in the FIFA Council in a nail-biting contest.
He got 28 votes, one short of the 29 obtained by Souleiman Hassan Waberi of Djibouti, the fifth person who got into the FIFA Council.
