CAF Champions League: Rivers United Fine-tunes Strategy Against Liberia’s Watanga FC

Nigeria Professional Football League Champions Rivers United will on Sunday 11 September take on Watanga FC of Liberia at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium by 4 pm Nigeria time in the CAF Champions League first preliminary round tie.

The team trained at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium having completed the second session this week as they continue to fine-tune preparations for the CAF Champions League 1st preliminary round tie against the Liberian Champions Watanga FC.

The squad kicked off the training session under the supervision of Technical Manager Stanley Eguma with fitness drills before moving on to work on possession and ball control. The session finished off with a game on a reduced-size pitch and shots on goal.
