RIVERS United’s quest for a good outing in Luanda as they confront DC Motema Pembe in CAF TotalEnergies Confederation’s Cup group B matchday 3 tie received a huge boost on Friday as they were given a rousing reception on arrival at the Aeroporto Internacional 4 de Fevereiro Luanda and further hosted to lunch at the embassy by the Nigerian Ambassador to Angola, Her Excellency Professor Monique Ekpong.
The Rivers United contingent was received by the representative of the Nigeria Ambassador to Luanda, consular staff and some members of the Nigerian community in Luanda.
Rivers United will confront DC Motema Pembe on Sunday 26th February at the Estádio 11 de Novembro Stadium in Talatona (near Luanda), Angola.
