Reigning World and Commonwealth 100m hurdles champion, Tobi Amusan, has touched down in Lagos after her victories at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon, US, and more recently in Zurich, Switzerland as well as her win at the Commonwealth Games.
The 25-year-old set a meet record of 12.29secs to win the women’s 100m hurdles at the Diamond League in Zurich and won $30,000 last Thursday.
At the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, in August, Amusan took the women’s 100m with a new Games record.
The Ogun State-born athlete had earlier broken the World record at the World Championship in Oregon USA in a time of 12.12 seconds.
