THE Lead Pastor of Power City International, Dr Abel Damina, has stated that God can reveal himself through various means, not only via Christianity.
He made this statement during a power-packed conference in Abuja a few days ago titled “The Revelation Of Jesus Christ”.
During his teachings, the man of God, who is on a mission of reintroducing Jesus Christ to this generation and raising disciples that will stand the taste of time, said that Christianity is not the only faith through which God reveals himself.
“God, when Jesus was born, astrologers knew; they were not Christians, and they were not Bible readers, but they knew that there was going to be a star that would lead to where the Messiah would be born, and exactly when it happened, they knew it, and they came to worship.
“They were not Jews. The Centurion was not a Jew in the book of Acts 10, and Cornelius was not a Jew.
“God’s revelation can come in the mosque. God’s revelation can come in the shrine. God’s revelation can come on the road. God’s revelation can come in the temple.
“It can come in the bush. God can reveal himself through any and any, but watch this: when he reveals himself, that revelation will bring you to the Bible, where you will find Christ.
“That’s why when the Muslim hears me teach, inside him, he knows, this is the truth.
“Ask the Muslims around you who are listening to me. They will tell you that “ I am not a Christian, but I know what this man is saying is the truth”. How do they know?
“The revelation of God brings people ultimately to the truth. Even traditional worshippers, a lot of them are following me.
“They will say, I am a traditional worshipper but that man is preaching the truth. Because the revelation of God is not restricted to Christianity, because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son”.
“Why will the revelation of God bring you back to the Bible? Because the Bible is the only book on earth that has the revelation of Christ.
“Of course in Islam, there is a bit of Christ. In other religions, there’s a bit of Jesus here and there, but not holistically.
“If you want the totality of the Messiah you must come to the people that the Oracles of God were given to”.
