PUBLISHER of Ovation Magazine and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Dele Momodu, has shared his observations about Alhaji Aliko Dangote, one of Nigeria’s most successful businessmen, during a television appearance.
In a video shared by Channels TV, Momodu said Dangote appeared very frustrated on television and that his hair had turned grey, making him look almost like the famous writer Wole Soyinka.
Momodu said Dangote, who has made significant investments in Nigeria, is just one of many businesspeople trying to do great things for the nation. He stressed the importance of supporting and encouraging these entrepreneurs instead of creating an environment that makes their efforts seem futile.
In Dele Momodu’s words: “I saw the frustration in Dangote’s voice when I was watching him on television, his hair has grown grey all of a sudden, almost looking like Wole Soyinka. I saw the reports in the Financial Times and Bloomberg, they will not help Nigeria. This man has invested so much in Nigeria just like other people. We have a lot of good business people who are doing great things in Nigeria. We should encourage them”.
