A Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP of Police Mobile Force, PMF, Abubakar Muhammad Guri is dead.
It was learnt that Guri slumped and died shortly after he entered his office at the Louis Edet House Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Monday (today). He was said to have died before help could come his way.
A source at the FHQ said that the late DCP, in his uniform, slumped on his seat in his office.
“Some officers around rushed him to hospital and even before reaching there, he already died”, a source said.
He is said to have hailed from Kano State. And his corpse was already taken to Kano for burial. 
Eighteen-Eleven Media however some senior police officers had held a marathon meeting last night that lasted till about 11 pm brainstorming on how to curtail the organised labour strike.
It could not be immediately ascertained if DC Guri was part of the meeting.
