THE female police officer said to have been one of the seven victims that fell to the bullets of the daredevil men of the underworld last Friday 20th October 2023 has been identified as Constable Emmanuella Ankyov.
Eighteen-Eleven Media reports that in coordinated, simultaneous raids on the banks in the Otukpo area of Benue State that lasted for about an hour, seven persons including a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), John Adikwu and three other police officers lost their lives in the robbery attack on some commercial banks including First Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA), Zenith Bank, Access Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank.
Aside from the police casualties, one other notable personality that reportedly fell victim was Emmanuel Uche who was said to have rounded off his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme earlier this year and got a job at United Bank for Africa (UBA) in Otupko where he resumed a week ago.
