SWEDEN women’s national football team, have picked their ticket to the semi-final match at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup after defeating Japan 2-1 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Sweden will on Tuesday, August 15th face football giants Spain as they hope to continue their unbeaten run at the Women’s World Cup.
Amanda opened the net in the 32nd minute as she lashed in from close range to give Sweden the lead and Filippa Angeldal doubled it with a penalty in the 51st minute before Honoka Hayashi gave Japan the consolation late in the game.
