THE Federal Fire Service, Zaria Area Command, yesterday, 24 December 2024, averted a possible disaster on the Kaduna-Zaria Expressway.
The incident which occurred at the Kwanan Farakwai, Birnin Yero area of Kaduna State involved a tanker, en route from Lagos to Kano State, which overturned on the road while carrying 33,000 liters of PMS.
A gallant team from the Federal Fire Service, Zaria Area Command, led by ASF Adam Hamza, swiftly responded to the distress call. The fire was successfully extinguished, bringing the situation under control.
Also present at the scene were personnel from the Kaduna State Fire Service, Kofar Doka, Zaria, and officers from the Divisional Headquarters, Birnin Yero.
