NO fewer than four (4) Police officers and others reportedly lost their lives as gunmen attacked the Mobile Police (Mopol) base in Garagi, Yartsamiyar Jino Village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Residents who spoke on the incident said one Police officer sustained some injuries.
A resident added the gunmen carted away some rifles belonging to the officers during the incident.
A source who also spoke on the matter stated that the gunmen burnt down classrooms inside the Tsamiyar Jino Primary School.
The school has been used by security forces and their operatives as a camping arena.
