IN a gripping development, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi, the illustrious Fuji virtuoso rooted in Ibadan, the bustling hub of Oyo State, affectionately referred to as Taye Currency has purportedly suffered a sudden collapse while abroad in the United Kingdom.

Taye Currency, a prominent figure in the world of Fuji music, is said to be currently on admission to a hospital

Shockwaves rippled through online communities after a report surfaced stating his sudden collapse while in the UK.

This startling revelation was brought to light by Seun Oloketuyi, the convener of the Best of Nollywood awards, who chose the expansive platform of Instagram to relay this distressing news to the public sphere on Wednesday.

He averred that the esteemed singer is presently under medical care at a hospital facility in the UK.

Oleketuyi wrote, “Reports say @taiye_currency77 collapsed in the UK and is presently in admission in the hospital.”

This news has left his followers in a state of uncertainty, pondering the details and reasons behind his sudden health issue.

Meanwhile, the media aide to the Fuji musician, Mr. Tope Eluyefa, has denied that the musician was rushed to a London hospital after collapsing at a live performance.

Eluyefa dismissed the report on Wednesday.

Eluyefa, in a telephone conversation, said he called the musician immediately he saw the online reports and it was revealed that nothing of such happened to him.

“It is not true. I called him this morning. We spoke around 8:30am.

“Ask them where he slumped. All his performances are recorded live. He is at home now,” he said.
