The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has described the former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel as a “good landlord”.
Pastor Adeboye made this declaration yesterday at a prayer meeting for the dedication of the sprawling Emzor Pharmaceutical factories at the Sagamu Interchange in Ogun State.
According to Pastor Adeboye, while Otunba Daniel was the governor of Ogun State, he was a good host and made it possible and convenient for several organisations to have good land allocations in the state.
He referred to the Flower Gate Industrial Estate and particularly the Emzor Pharmaceutical factory as one of the testimonies of the fact that Otunba Daniel was a good landlord.
Also, corroborating Pastor Adeboye, Dr Stella Chinyelu Okoli (OON), the Founder and Group Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, testified to the magnanimity of Otunba Daniel while he was governor of Ogun State.
She gave testimonies of how Otunba Daniel facilitated the establishment of Emzor Pharmaceutical in Sagamu, Ogun State following the inability of the organisation to secure a good location.
She recalled how Emzor got the land when “OGD just called me and said if you’re looking for space come to Ogun State, I will give you land”.
Emzor Pharmaceutical factories have started operations in Sagamu Interchange, Ogun State and have employed several hundreds of young men and women, both skilled and unskilled.
