The menace of gully erosion Saturday reared its ugly Saturday as it swallowed a two-storey building and a four-bedroom bungalow in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State following torrential rain that lasted for over 16 hours.
The two-storey building reportedly belonged to an indigene area but living outside the country, while the other belonged to another indigene, resident at home.
These incidents reportedly happened at Amahewu, Umueze, and Amamba Uzuakoli.
