THE Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its strike action in Imo state.
The labour union has also given Governor Hope Uzodimma two weeks to address the numerous demands of workers.
NLC in a statement made available to newsmen said the suspension was to enable workers to vote in Saturday’s state House of Assembly election.
Labour was quick to add in the press statement that if the state government fails to act on their demands in two weeks, workers would resume the strike action.
