FOUR students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, have dragged Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State alongside three others to court for relocating the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences to the newly established Faculty of Agricultural Science and Renewable Natural Resources, Iseyin Campus in the Iseyin Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Makinde decided to relocate the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences to Iseyin in the Oke Ogun geo-political zone of the state.
However, in suit HOG/34/2023 filed at an Oyo State High Court in Ogbomoso, Akintayo Abdulqoyuum Ajibola, Onwi Edet, Ezekiel Ogunmola and Aderemi Olude, who are second-year students, also listed education commissioner, the Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, and the Provost of the Iseyin campus as defendants in the suit.
