THE Chief Whip of Adamawa State House of Assembly, Haruna Jilantikiri has dropped his personal car for a bicycle in protest against the hike in fuel price.
Jilantikiri, who represents Madagali Constituency at the Assembly, opted for the use of his bicycle to run his daily activities.
The price of petrol was hiked considerably by oil marketers shortly after President Bola Tinubu declared an end to the fuel subsidy regime.
The Adamawa State Assembly Chief Whip, who spoke to newsmen while riding on his bicycle on Thursday, lamented that Nigerians do not have the money for the new petrol price regime.
