OPERATIVES of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) at about 4:30 a.m. on Monday while on patrol of Third Mainland Bridge caught 21-year-old Ibrahim Ashafa removing metal drain ducts of the Third Mainland Bridge.
Recovered from him were four metal drain ducts, spanners, pliers, a rope, a screwdriver, a wheel spanner etc.
Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, while urging the operatives to intensify efforts in bringing to book vandals of the state’s infrastructure, directed that the suspect be charged in court.
