BOXING legend Mike Tyson experienced a medical scare on Sunday during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, his representatives informed the New York Post.
The 57-year-old became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing. Despite the incident, Tyson’s team reassured fans that he is “doing great” and expressed gratitude for the medical staff who assisted him.

Tyson, who will turn 58 next month, has been candid about the physical toll of preparing for an upcoming fight. During a recent press conference, he admitted his body feels sore and described it as feeling “like s— right now.”
However, Tyson’s trademark confidence remains unshaken. Responding to his opponent Anderson Silva’s chances, Tyson said, “He’s going to knock me out? Anderson Silva. He couldn’t even knock out the little guys, how’s he going to knock me out?”
Meanwhile, his opponent Jake Paul, 27, has exuded confidence throughout the press tour. “I’m going to show the world that I can outbox Mike Tyson, prove everyone wrong, and show that I will be the one doing the killing,” Paul declared at a press event in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
The last time Tyson stepped into the boxing ring was for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020, which ended in a draw. Tyson’s last sanctioned fight took place in June 2005. Despite concerns about his ability to compete at his age, Tyson’s resilience and fighting spirit continue to captivate the boxing world.
