MohBad’s Father Alleges His Wife, Wunmi Murdered Musician Over Demand For DNA Test

IN a jaw-dropping exposé that sent shockwaves across social media, MohBad’s father, Joseph Aloba unleashed a barrage of accusations against his daughter-in-law and his ex-wife, the mother of the late singer, accusing them of involvement in the sudden demise of the musician and reaping they did not sow.

In a poignant video circulating online, the grieving father of the musician made startling claims, suggesting that his son met his untimely end due to a dispute over DNA.

Recounting a harrowing encounter, he disclosed overhearing a voice note in which MohBad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba and Wunmi, presumably his daughter-in-law, were engaged in a heated argument. He noted that his son stated that if Wunmi killed him, she couldn’t kill his entire family.

In the recording, the late MohBad, who had recently released a song, claimed that if a DNA test were conducted, it would reveal the truth behind his son’s death.

Expanding on his assertion, MohBad’s father emphasized that, as the singer’s father, he had the right to demand a DNA test for his grandson.

In the video, the older Aloba also launched a scathing attack on his ex-wife, MohBad’s mother, accusing her of attempting to reap where she did not sow. He lambasted her for being completely ignorant about their son’s life, including the schools he attended.

According to the older Aloba, she has the audacity to claim she checked on MohBad at school, despite being utterly absent from his upbringing and knowing nothing about his life.

Mr Aloba’s position appears in tandem with the evidence adduced by MohBad’s friend and colleague in the music industry, Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy

Primeboy in his testimony at the Coroner inquest set up to unravel the mystery surrounding the circumstances leading to the death of the musician said: “MohBad had been my childhood friend since secondary school. He was a smart and mentally stable guy. I was surprised when I heard some people saying he forgot lyrics and password. 

“He unlocked his phone by himself and he had no mental problem. On the day of the Ikorodu show, he was hale and hearty. When we were about to leave for the show, we didn’t know that Wunmi wanted to follow us. She just came into the car with Liam (the son). The car couldn’t fit (sic) everyone in, so MohBad had to order another Prado for the rest of the boys. 

“We left home with Darosha, Wunmi, Liam, MohBad, Spending and myself inside the car. The other Prado met us at the venue. We were all fine, laughing and gisting in the car until we got to Ebute. We were talking about girls’ stuff. That was when Wunmi faced MohBad and said, ‘What about you’ blabla…

“MohBad was angry and said, ‘Why will you bring this kind of topic here?’ 

“Wunmi replied and said ‘ Am I lying against you? Did you not do it?’ Then MohBad said ‘You want to start again, abi?’ 

“I tried to calm both of them down. MohBad listened to me and kept quiet but Wunmi was raising her voice and saying ‘Stop this car, I want to come down’ but I calmed her down till we got to the show.

“After MohBad performed at the show, I followed him back to the car. Wunmi was in the car with Liam. When we entered the car, they continued their fight. MohBad became so angry and told me to go and clear the road that he wanted to leave, I calmed him down and told him to hold on a little for the other artistes performing so we could go together and he agreed. 

“I got down and entered the car again. They already started fighting and MohBad said, ‘ I don’t even know if this baby is mine because I don’t trust you. 

“I only had sex with you once and you came back a few days after that you were pregnant. Your family is planning how you guys will kill me and inherit all my property. Your family keep borrowing huge money from me without returning it back. Your family is choking me. You want to bring me down’. “Wunmi got really mad and I told MohBad that this is a family issue. You should not be saying that here. Go to the house and settle it…..”
