Former governor of Osun State, and a member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has distanced himself from the travails of one of the governorship aspirants of the party in the recently concluded Osun governorship election, Prince Dotun Babayemi.
Prince Babayemi was recently expelled from the party by party executives in Ward 02, Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State.
However, reacting to these developments, Prince Oyinlola warned Prince Babayemi to face his music himself and should desist from attaching his name to his ordeals.
“I am a party man, and I understand the rules of the PDP”. Nobody in his right sense should fight dirty with the party, and once the election had been contested and won, then litigating against the party and/or the winner declared is a serious anti-party activity which is punishable under the rules of the party “.
Prince Oyinlola also used the opportunity to assure the good people of Osun to await the good delivery of dividends of democracy from the government of the party led by the governor-elect, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
