ENUGU STATE-born Nigerian referee, Patience Ndidi Madu will be at the centre when Mali host the Central African Republic in a 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier this week.
The encounter is billed for the Stade 26 Mars, Bamako on Tuesday (today). Madu will be assisted by her compatriots Mfon Akpan and Abibatu Yusuf, while Abigael Alaba Olufunmilayo is the fourth official.
According to communication from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Mfon Akpan will serve as Assistant Referee 1, for the game billed to take place on Tuesday 26 September 2023 at the Bamako Stade 26 Mars.
Vastly experienced Female Referee, Patience Ndidi Madu is Referee for the WAFCON qualification 2nd-leg clash, to be assisted by Mfon Akpan and Abibatu Yusuf, while Abigael Alaba Olufunmilayo is the fourth official.
Senegal’s Aissatou Françoise Seck is the Match Commissioner.
Mali holds a 1-7 aggregate advantage into the second leg, having thrashed the Central African Republic in the first leg, played on September 22, 2023, at the Stade De la Unification, Douala.
