The Lagos State Deputy governor, Babafemi Hamzat fired clear shots at the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, during a campaign rally for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, over the weekend.
In a video serving rounds online, Hamzat, while speaking to Tinubu supporters, said Peter Obi is campaigning in Lagos State now because ‘they’ have laboured to develop and stabilise it.
According to him, Peter Obi can’t campaign in his state in the Eastern part of Nigeria whereas he wants to campaign in Lagos.
Hamzat further added that it is the political party/candidate that built Lagos State that would be entrusted with the responsibility of building Nigeria, adding that it is Tinubu’s turn to rule.
A while back, Bola Ahmed Tinubu shared a video of himself tremendously working out in reaction to the rumours surrounding his health and well-being.
He also stated that he has not withdrawn from the presidential race and he will be ready to serve Nigerians when the time comes.
Sharing the video, Bola Tinubu wrote –
Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.
Well… Nope.
This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.
