ONDO State governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) today returned to Nigeria after about three months of medical trip abroad.
His wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu disclosed this via her Facebook page.
Eighteen-Eleven Media reports that Akeredolu landed in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The governor left the country on 7th June to attend to his health challenges in Germany and was supposed to return on 6th July.
However, Akeredolu could not return after his 21-day medical leave. The state government said, “Akeredolu will resume duty after being certified fit by doctors”.
His deputy, Luck Aiyedatiwa has been acting as the governor of the state.
