EVERY year on Christmas Island, Australia, millions of red crabs migrate from the forest to the sea during the breeding season.
But in the middle of their path, there is a road. In order to preserve the life of the crustaceans, the authorities chose to build bridges and tunnels along the entire highway.
The crabs climb bridges that take them safely across one of the islands’ busiest roads.
