PRO-Siminalayi Fubara House of Assembly lawmakers have extended an invitation to a cross-section of individuals shortlisted as chairmen and caretaker committee members of the 23 local government areas of Rivers State.
A letter of invitation signed by G. M. Gillis-West, Clerk of the House of the Assembly said the decision is pursuant to Section 9(5) of the Rivers State Local Government Law, No. 5 of 2018.
Mr Gillis-West further informed that the nominees are to come along with twelve(12) sets of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and the originals and photocopies of their credentials.
He gave the venue as the Hallowed Chamber. Rivers State House of Assembly, Auditorium,
Admin. Block, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt. The screening is scheduled for today.
