JUSTICE Darius Khobo of a Kaduna State High Court sitting in Kaduna has sentenced a property agent, Abubakar Munkail to five years imprisonment or a fine of N100,000 following his conviction.

Abubakar Munkail was slammed with one count charge bordering on forgery by the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The convict pleaded guilty to the charge.
Consequently, the prosecution counsel, N. Salele urged the court to convict him accordingly. Justice Khobo convicted and sentenced him to five years imprisonment or a fine of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000.00) only.
Munkaila, a property agent at Danbushiya, Chikun Local Government Area ran into trouble when he sold four plots of land located at Millennium City, Kaduna valued at Four Million, One Hundred and Seventy-Five Thousand Naira (N4,175,000.00) only which did not belong to him, with forged documents.
He has since restituted the complainant.
