PSG ‘Slap World Record £213m Price Tag On Kylian Mbappe’ Amid Interest From Real Madrid

PSG are ready to let Kylian Mbappe leave this summer, but only for a world record £213 million (€250m) fee.

The superstar capped his return to the first team with a goal off the bench in PSG’s  1-1 draw with Toulouse on Saturday, where he seemed to indicate his future – for the next few months at least – would lie in the capital.

But following rumours of long-time suitors Real Madrid readying a £103m bid to secure his services this summer, PSG have reportedly slapped a whopping price tag on the 24-year-old.

According to Spanish outlet AS the Parisian side are holding out hope of agreeing to a new contract with the forward whose contract expires in less than 12 months.

But are nonetheless prepared to let him go if the right offer is tabled by the LaLiga giants.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that Mbappe would not be allowed to leave for free earlier this summer – but Mbappe rejected an advance from Al-Hilal

The departure of Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad this summer has increased the urgency for a Mbappe deal to be reached before the close of the window

It is the latest development in a now several-season-long drama involving the three parties. And despite many anticipating that Mbappe will eventually turn out for the 14-time European Cup winners, his current employers have shown themselves more than capable of standing their ground.

Following the striker’s decision to depart his boyhood club on a free transfer next year, PSG banished him to the ‘B’ team for training in an illustration of their fury.

Under new manager Luis Enrique, Mbappe has now been reinstated and Saturday’s cameo highlighted the club’s dependence on his world-leading talents.

The side have made an underwhelming start to their Ligue 1 campaign with back-to-back draws from their opening two fixtures.

Mbappe will expect to be handed his first start of the season in their next fixture against Lens on Saturday evening.
