OPERATIVES of the Lagos State government-funded Rapid Response Squad (RRS) at about 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, 8th February, responding to a violent crisis in Idi-Araba, Mushin, arrested Muhammed Yaro (25), while wielding machete and hammer as others fled the scene on sighting the police.

The same day, at about 11:00 p.m., men of the special police force, combing suspected flashpoints in Dopemu, Egbeda, Idimu, Council Roundabout, Ikotun and environ, arrested 31 suspects.
Eighteen of the suspects were released to their relatives after a thorough screening was carried out by the Commander of the squad, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi.
Thirteen suspects are to be charged in court for prosecution in line with the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.
