PILGRIMAGE to the holy land of Jerusalem for Nigerians seeking spiritual healing may no longer be necessary as a replica of the Pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem has now been commissioned in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
Performing the commissioning of the healing pool this Saturday was the Founder and Spiritual Head of African Jerusalem Christians Ministry, Solution City, His Eminence, Prophet G. A. Owoseni.
Prophet Oweseni was joined by senior prophets and prophetesses of Cherubim & Seraphim Church Nationwide in the commissioning of the pool located at Oluyole Extension, Mekun Village, Kuola Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to Prophet Owoseni, the Pool of Bethesda is a replica of what is obtainable in Jerusalem, where Jesus lived.
The renowned man of God also shared his thoughts on Africans who are ethnocentric in nature, saying that the good and perfect gifts of God started with the black race.
Prophet Owoseni maintained that the healing pool is meant for everyone who needs healing in one way or another as the pool will save the nation the cost of pilgrimages to Jerusalem and Mecca.
Prophet Owoseni revealed his plans on 127 altars for both Muslims and Christians to pray. He emphasized that the centre is not limited to Christians alone as he is also constructing a mosque within the premises to foster religious harmony.
The Pool of Bethesda is referred to in John’s Gospel in the Christian New Testament (John 5:2) in an account of Jesus healing a paralyzed man at a pool of water in Jerusalem, described as being near the sheep Gate and surrounded by five covered colonnades or porticoes.
Speaking during the sanctification and commissioning of the Pool of Bethesda, Most Eminence Prophet (Dr) Adegboyega Alao (a.k.a Baba Olori), who cut the tape, described the pool as the presence of God for healing in Nigeria. He urged everyone to come with faith and a clean heart.
“For you to receive full miracles at this pool, please, I advise, come with your faith and a clean heart”, he said.
In her statement, Queen Captain (Dr) Mrs. M.E.A Talabi JP said that the pool has already been sanctified by the power of God through His prophets; therefore, healings begin now. She advised the church to make good use of the pool.
