CHIPPA United are reportedly preparing to part ways with their star goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, at the end of the current season.
The club, aiming to strengthen their squad for the upcoming summer transfer window, believes selling Nwabali will provide them with the necessary funds to achieve their goals.
Sources indicate that Chippa United have already identified two potential replacements for the Nigerian international.
Nwabali, who joined the Chilli Boys three years ago from Katsina United in the NPFL, has become a prominent figure in the South African League, earning a reputation as one of the top goalkeepers in the country.
His impressive performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, where he helped Nigeria secure a runner-up finish, sparked interest from other clubs last summer.
Despite this, Nwabali committed to Chippa United, signing a new three-year contract and being named captain.
However, it seems his time with the club may be coming to an end.
