Wife of the late founder of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Mrs Evelyn Joshua has promised to build a strong Godly foundation for the youth through education and as well mobilise women and groups in the ministry towards a special relationship with Christ.
She also related memorable moments she shared with her husband, saying they were times to always reflect on.
Mrs Joshua disclosed this Sunday at the first-year celebration of the founder of SCOAN, Prophet Temitope Joshua’s life and legacies at the Church’s headquarters in Ikotun Egbe Area of Lagos.
According to the leader of the church, she shared wonderful moments with the late prophet, while she also learnt many things which she has not forgotten.
“I leant from my husband that life is no bed of roses and I learnt patience and absolute trust in God; I learnt tolerance, perseverance, understanding, forgiveness.
“The TB Joshua that I know, married and the father of my three daughters was a man of prayer and that was what led me to him. I didn’t choose my husband, he chose me but I loved him unto death.
“There was no SCOAN then and we were satisfied but when we started the church, and we were sitting on the mat, I became the first Sunday School teacher in the church and here we are today. I have experienced love and I have learnt to bless God in every situation.”
Mrs Joshua, however, said have determined to broaden the scope and relevance of TB Joshua’s legacy, noting that SCOAN mountain is an assured place of meeting God through prayers and their partners have not stopped visiting the site to encounter God.
” The Arigidi Mountain work will soon be in progress. That is one of Prophet TB Joshua’s dream projects. We are equally committed to building a strong, Godly foundation for youth whom we call the seed of tomorrow, through the education department.
We hope to reach our youth through our partners and members all over the world. We are equally determined to a progressive mobilisation of our women and groups in the ministry towards a special relationship with Christ.”
She, therefore, acknowledged and expressed gratitude to national and international government executives, diplomats, religious leaders, embassies and consulates, traditional leaders, non-governmental organisations, security officers and all others who have influenced the ministry in the last year.
