TAMUNONEMI Tekenah, a seasoned corporate and commercial lawyer based in Lithuania; and George Nwangwu, Professor of Law at the Nile University, Abuja headline distinguished speakers billed to bared their minds at the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) Eastern Zonal Conference, holding in Enugu, Enugu State.
The event, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 20 March 2024 has the theme, “Unlocking Prosperity: Exploring the Legal and Entrepreneurial Business Opportunities in the Eastern Zone of Nigeria”.
According to the Chairman, Conference Planning Committee, Nnaemeka Egonu, a partner at Egonu Chambers (Law firm of GRI Egonu, SAN), speakers expected at the one-day conference include Tamunonemi Tekenah, a seasoned and corporate commercial lawyer who is based in Lithuania; and George Nwangwu, Professor of Law at the Nile University, Abuja and an expert in Power Sector and Project Finance; Ikechukwu Ogu, Head, Enugu Zonal Office of Investment and Securities Tribunal; Ini Irene Pepple, Head of Practice, Peacemakers Legal Consultancy; Sonia Ebiki, Head of Legal, MG Vowgas Group; and Olusegun Ilori, Director of its Legal and Corporate Services.
Others include Smart Okpara, Associate ALN Nigeria/Aluko & Oyebode; Rita Chindah, Rivers State University; Dr. Jude Odinkonigbo, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu Campus; Hon. Egonu added that names of more speakers and distinguished guests would be made known while a pre-conference cocktail has been fixed for Tuesday, 19 March 2024 at 5 pm and closing dinner is to take place on the conference day at 5 pm.
