A devastating car accident has claimed the lives of Benue State-based lawyer, Stephanie Angbiandoo, her husband, Victor Angbian Tyohemba, and their two children, Agnes Ngohide and Immaculate Sesughter.
The fatal crash occurred on 4 January 2025, along the Akwanga-Abuja Road, just as the family was returning to their home in Abuja after celebrating the festive season in Benue State.
The grief-stricken family and community laid the beloved family members to rest on Monday, 6 January in Igbor, Gwer East Local Government Area, Benue State. A close family friend, Ngutswen Terna Timothy, shared an emotional tribute, revealing that Victor had called him just two days earlier to discuss their journey back to Abuja.
The Angbiandoo family had called Aso Estate in Abuja home, where they were known for their warmth and humility. Stephanie Angbiandoo, a dedicated lawyer and alumna of the Faculty of Law at Benue State University, Makurdi, leaves behind a legacy of kindness that has deeply impacted all who knew her.
The funeral service was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Igbor, where a grieving community gathered to pay their respects to the departed family. Their untimely deaths have left a profound sense of sorrow among family, friends, and colleagues, who are still coming to terms with the loss of this remarkable family.
